Trane equipment, installed by the Pasco shop
Air-Tech is a Trane dealer, and the sign on the left of the shop gable says so. For a homeowner that means the equipment, the installation, the service calls and the parts all come through one door on North Oregon Avenue instead of three. Below is the full Trane line the shop works with, sorted by the kind of equipment.
Not sure which kind fits your house? Call (509) 392-2021 and describe what you have now. The right answer often depends on the ducts, the gas line and the room for an indoor unit, and that is a question for a visit, not a catalogue.
Air Conditioners
A split air conditioner pairs an outdoor condenser with an indoor coil on a furnace or air handler, so it suits a house that already has good ductwork. Replacement is mostly a matter of matching the coil, the line set and the pad to what is already there.

Air Handlers
The air handler is the indoor cabinet that holds the blower and coil for a heat pump or a cooling-only system. It fits homes without a gas furnace, and it is worth checking whenever the outdoor unit is replaced.

Ductless Systems
Ductless systems put a small indoor head on the wall, ceiling or floor and run refrigerant lines outside to the condenser. They fit an addition, a garage, a bonus room, or a house that never had ducts.

Gas Furnaces
A gas furnace burns natural gas in a heat exchanger and pushes the warmed air through the ducts. The choices come down to fuel type, blower speed and how the flue is vented, and they matter most in a house with a long cold season.

Heat Pumps
A heat pump moves heat instead of making it, so one outdoor unit both cools the house in August and heats it in January. It fits a home with ducts and no gas line, or one where the owner wants a single system for the whole year.

Indoor Air Quality
These products clean, humidify, dry or exchange the air moving through the ducts. They connect to the furnace or air handler you already own, and they fit dry winter homes or tightly built ones that hold on to stale air.

Oil Furnaces
An oil furnace burns fuel from a tank and vents through a chimney or a dedicated flue. It only fits a house that already has the tank and the flue in place, so replacing one usually means a like-for-like swap.

- XV80 Oil Furnace
Packaged Systems
A packaged system folds the coil, the blower and the outdoor components into one cabinet that sits outside the building. It fits a house with no room indoors for a furnace or air handler, and it is a common choice on a slab.

Thermostats
The thermostat is what tells the equipment when to run. A new one can replace an old dial, add a schedule, or take the place of a control that no longer talks to the system, and it is a quick upgrade during any other equipment visit.

Pick a model with someone who will install it
A model name only tells you part of the story. Sizing, ductwork and where the unit sits decide how a system behaves once it is running. Call the shop, or look at financing through GreenSky and the AT Advantage maintenance plans before you commit.
